Scott Coolbaugh Could Be Candidate For Rangers Hitting Coach Opening
The Rangers are looking for a hitting coach with "presence" and one who can continue Hurdle's emphasis on situational hitting and playing winning offensive baseball. Two in-house candidates who could emerge are Johnny Narron, who has been a special assignment coach for the past three years with emphasis on hitting, and Triple-A Oklahoma City hitting coach Scott Coolbaugh.
