Round Two: Trade Colby Rasmus? Really?

QUESTION: It’s common knowledge there has been friction between Cardinals manager Tony La Russa and center fielder Colby Rasmus. That said, Rasmus is a young player that has a ceiling not yet reached and is under control at a low price for a few more years. Still, talks swirl that Rasmus may be traded this offseason. What would be the logic behind such a trade? Wouldn’t trading Rasmus to fill a hole just create another hole?
