Les Lancaster Named GCL Phillies Pitching Coach
Everybody knows Ryne Sandberg will manage Triple-A Lehigh Valley and Mickey Morandini will manage Class A Williamsport. But the Phillies also announced Monday that former big league pitcher Les Lancaster will join the rookie-level Gulf Coast Phillies as a pitching coach. Mark Parent will manage Double-A Reading after managing Class A Lakewood last season, and Chris Truby will manage Lakewood after managing Williamsport.
