Q&A With John Mozeliak
The busiest man in St. Louis this offseason may be Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak, who has already begun trying to figure out how he can improve a club that needed a 9-2 finish to end with a 86-76 record. His club was in the first place when he traded outfielder Ryan Ludwick to the San Diego Padres in a three-team trade that brought pitcher Jake Westbrook to the Cardinals. But the move will continue to be questioned after the Cardinals suffered a 9-21 record during a stretch in August and early September and finished a distant second behind the Reds in the National League Central.
