Edgar Renteria Has Stood Test Of Time
Obscured somewhat by the onslaught of offense in Game 1 of the World Series was a quite handsome play by Giants shortstop Edgar Renteria. He ranged far to his left to intercept Ian Kinsler's ground ball, spun and threw out the Rangers' second baseman by a comfortable margin for the first out of the fourth inning.
