He says he knows a lot of NFL officials that have made terrible calls that had they stayed that way, everyone would know who they are too, but because they have replay, no one will ever know the officials name. Don says if you get yourself in a position on the field where you can't hear the sound and you're looking at the bag, if you can't hear the sound, you'll make a mistake. He says he put himself in a position to see both the bag and the ball, and when the ball was caught, he looked down and the runner’s foot was on the bag, so that's why he called him safe.
