Cardinals Report Card: Pitchers
The playoffs started Wednesday with the Cardinals watching from the outside for the third time in the last four years. The Cardinals finished 86-76 but underachieved in several areas and watched as the Cincinnati Reds won the National League Central. The Cardinals went 9-21 during a stretch in August and early September including a 2-8 road trip to Pittsburgh, Washington and Houston that eventually sealed their fate.
