Cardinals Relievers Say They'll Miss Marty Mason
As the Cardinals' bullpen coach, Marty Mason did more than ride herd on the relievers, maintain the mechanics of all Cardinals pitchers, and relay CliffsNotes on opposing batters. There were times when fans, pressing close to the bullpen walls, would verbally pelt his charges and Mason would take on a more voluntary role.
