Not that there was ever any real question as to whether Albert Pujols would be back with the Cardinals next season, but St. Louis made it official Wednesday, exercising the 2011 club option on the All-Star first baseman.
The St. Louis Cardinals made their most obvious move of the offseason their first move of the offseason -- exercising the 2011 option on three-time MVP Albert Pujols' contract.
