Five Questions Facing The Cardinals

A busy offseason has already begun for Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak, who must somehow find a way to improve a team that needed a 9-2 finish to reach 86 wins. Among the items on Mozeliak’s plate include signing a fifth starter, a left-handed reliever and a back-up catcher who provides an offensive punch. The Cardinals would also like to upgrade their offense at second base and shortstop and find more power for their bench. Some guy named Albert Pujols demands a lot of their attention this offseason as well, as they try to sign the slugger to a long-term contract before he becomes a free agent after next season.
