Angels Pitcher Jordany Gomez Suspended 50 Games
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced Tuesday afternoon that Dominican Summer League pitcher Jordany Gomez, a Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim property, received a 50-game suspension after testing positive for Phentermine and Mephentermine, performance-enhancing substances in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
