Round Two: Will Cardinals Boost Payroll To Compete?

QUESTION: With the Reds’ magic number sitting at six, it appears Cards fans must look toward next year. That in mind, with so much money tied up in just a few players (and a possible extension for Albert Pujols still looming), is there enough payroll left for the Cardinals to address their many needs or is this team hamstrung by shelling out so much money for a core of players?
