Defense Keeps Cardinals Alive
The Cardinals had some defensive problems, notably at second base, in the early innings tonight at Busch Stadium. But. in the fourth and fifth, they turned in no fewer than four outstanding plays in the field to keep themselves alive in a game the Chicago Cubs led, 4-0, in the fifth.
