Cardinals Break Through But Marlon Byrd Stops Them
The Cardinals finally broke through against the young Chicago Cubs' staff in the seventh tonight when Matt Holliday's two-out single scored Randy Winn, who had pinch hit a double. Winn slid home with the Cardinals' first run of the night, avoiding a tag by Chicago catcher Geovany Soto.
