Cardinals Back Off Plan To Sideline Jaime Garcia

Insisting that the standings didn't guide him, Cardinals manager Tony La Russa announced a plan Wednesday to sideline lefthanded rookie Jaime Garcia for the remainder of the reason and protect the young starter from additional wear.
