Rockies Designate Randy Flores For An Assignment; Cardinals Watching Clint Barmes?
One night after one of the more popular players in Rockies’ recent history departed in Brad Hawpe, veteran Randy Flores was shown the door. Flores was surprised when told after the game that he will be designated for assignment. The Rockies are recalling infielder Johnny Herrera to fill his roster spot, moves first reported by The Denver Post.
