Richard Justice Interview – The Houston Chronicle columnist posits that the Redbirds picked the worst possible time to fall into a downward spiral. Justice still believes in La Russa’s ability to inspire a squad, though, comparing the St. Louis skipper’s plight to that of Gary Kubiak, head coach of the Texans. The scribe also puts the Cards on a playoff pedestal above Philadelphia, San Francisco and Atlanta. Lastly, the two writers converse on the subject of Manny Ramirez.
