David Freese Appears To Re-Injure Ankle

David Freese’s injury rehab assignment came to an abrupt pause Monday night when the St. Louis Cardinals’ third baseman pulled up after he rounded third base, and reached for the right ankle that he injured in June.

Rehabbing third baseman David Freese encountered a setback Monday night during his first game with Double-A Springfield and will be reevaluated Tuesday in St. Louis.
