Earlier this week a simple tweet on Twitter got Cardinals Nation abuzz not just with the possibility of landing a surefire elite starting pitcher, but with the prospect the Cardinals were rumored to be dangling in the deal. It was not the first time the Twitter culture would fail us this week.
