Zack Cox Is Driven To Hit

The proof is still on Zack Cox's cell phone months later.

At 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2009, at Cox's high school's batting cage in Louisville, Ky., his mother, Sandra, thumbed the record button and held the phone up to capture evidence of her son's midnight batting practice. The idea came to Cox earlier that day, on the drive home from the cages with his father.
