6/8The Cardinals wasted little time moving bodies following Monday’s 12-4 loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chavez Ravine. P.J. Walters has been optioned to Triple-A Memphis to make room for Fernando Salas, the second time in two weeks Salas has been promoted. The move came hours after Walters allowed six runs in four innings in support of starter Blake Hawksworth, who crafted an identical line.
