In his first comments to reporters since solving the riddle of his forearm with surgery last week, St. Louis Cardinals starter Kyle Lohse sounded upbeat, per the the notebook in this morning’s Post-Dispatch. He said he was happy to have an explanation for his inconsistencies during the previous 12 months and happy to have an answer to correct them . According to the notebook, Lohse offered this view to Joe Strauss and other reporters:
