Cardinals Draft Power Hitter, But Probably Won't Sign Him

The Cardinals, who haven't really developed a righthanded power hitter since Albert Pujols was drafted more than 10 years ago, chose a 6-foot-4, 215-pound California high schooler considered one of the top outfield prospects on Day 2 of the major league amateur draft on Tuesday.
