Alan Ashby & Dave Stewart On 101 ESPN

Former All-Star pitcher Dave Stewart joins Burwell and Stelton to discuss some baseball. Stelton points out the thining Toronto Blue Jays fan attendence and questions if they can ever get their fan base back. Stewart believes the strike really hurt the Jays fans and says they need to put a strong team out on the field and people will return. Stewart, a former Dave Duncan student, says Duncan is one of the finest but his teachings don't transform you over night. Stelton questions Stewart, who is now a sports agent, on the upcoming Albert Pujols contract. Stewart says the bidding for Pujols will be off the charts if he hits the open market and thinks St. Louis players usually take a home team discount.
