Much has been written on forums lately about Skip Schumaker's slow offensive start. It is hard to argue with the fact that Skip's value to the Cardinals as an every day player is contingent on his offensive contributions. However, the numbers underlying Schumaker's slow start are worth examining further before drawing any conclusions.
