The Quad Cities River Bandits took the final game of their four-game set with the Peoria Chiefs, 8-7. Jason Stidham hit a two-run single in the bottom of the 10th to give Quad Cities the walk-off win.

During a sweltering Monday matinee at Modern Woodmen Park, Peoria's hopes of escaping with an extra-inning win over Quad-Cities proved to be a mirage.
