David Eckstein reached base five times and drove in two runs as the Padres defeated the Giants, 3-2, on Tuesday at AT&T Park.
Eckstein knocked in two runs in the second inning off Giants pitcher Barry Zito, who allowed three runs on six hits with seven walks in five innings.
