As regular visitors and frequent browsers know, I’ve been a fan of sabermetrics for several years. But sometimes it’s better to put the numbers aside and go with what I’m seeing. And right now, I don’t need stats to tell me (or you) that the Cardinals are leaky on defense. Middle infielders aren’t getting to ground balls.
