Are The Reds For Real?

After winning 8-2 against Pittsburgh Thursday night, the Reds now have won nine of 13 and are 28-20 overall. It’s the first time since June 30, 2006, that Cincinnati has been eight games over .500. Who was the hero Thursday night? Well, Scott Rolen’s first-inning three-run bomb was all the runs the Reds needed. Then there was young starter Johnny Cueto, who ended up going six shutout innings. Cueto is 5-0 with a 1.85 ERA over his last six starts.
