Yadier Molina One Of The Keys To The Cardinals Early Success

A catcher is one the most important players in an MLB roster and the Cardinals own one of the best in the business in Yadier Molina.

Despite the Puerto Rican is mostly quiet off the field, he is completely the opposite on the field. Not only does he is great with the signs but he is also aggressive on the plate making him an offensive threat for any pitcher. Molina makes the Cardinals a favorite team for any baseball betting fan, no question.

"I've been here as long as you," he said to STL Today. "You know me better than that. I don't think about what's going to happen in the future. I just think about what I can do in that at-bat”.

Molina is on pace for 65 home runs and 227 runs batted in, he had career high 56 RBI on the 2008 and is looking to match it this year.

Molina is working with a new hitting coach, Mark McGwire, who by the way said Yadier has some potential to be a terrific RBI guy: “He has such good control of that bat. He can do anything he wants with it. He's a very smart hitter."

Yadier Molina and the rest of the Cardinals will be looking to keep their good start in the NL Central.
