According to MLBTR contributor Blake Bentley, the Diamondbacks have signed 17-year-old Wagner Mateo to a contract worth $550K. We heard last Tuesday that Mateo and the D'Backs were on the verge of finalizing a deal, a month after the young outfield prospect worked out for the club.
