The numbers speak volumes that Cardinals right fielder Ryan Ludwick is prospering as a No. 2 hitter in front of three-time Most Valuable Player Albert Pujols in the lineup. Before tonight’s game at Busch Stadium against Atlanta, Ludwick was 20 for 58 (.345) with four homers and 10 runs batted in as the No. 2 hitter.
