Cardinals manager Tony La Russa, who had hinted the other day of moving right fielder Ryan Ludwick from the sixth spot in the order to No. 2 in the lineup, did just that tonight against the Milwaukee Brewers. Ludwick is a career .318 hitter in 205 at-bats while batting second, which, by far, is his best average at any position.
