Cardinals GM John Mozeliak joins the show and says he had promised Lugo he would deal him if a better opportunity for the shortstop arose. He also says he’s comfortable going into the season with Ryan Franklin as the closer but that the team has other internal options if he falters. Lastly, he wasn’t surprised by Jaime Garcia’s spring and says he believes Garcia has the talent to succeed at the major league level.
