Besides being abused by a knuckleball and then promptly abusing one — to the tune of a home run to left field — St. Louis Cardinals Matt Holliday had the first of many regular workouts Wednesday with the club he’ll call home for the next seven (or eight) years. Holliday was ill Tuesday and missed the first official full-squad workout of camp. He was admittedly less than wonderful Wednesday, but told us early that morning that he “felt good enough to be here.”
