Last spring the impending arrival of the All-Star Game in St. Louis inspired an assignment and offered an opportunity. The assignment was to trawl the clubhouses of spring with quick-hit, pop-culture questions that we could use in the All-Star preview section to offer a lighter side of the All-Star personalities. The opportunity was to finally do what I’ve wanted to do in previous springs and that is give a handful of players a short, pointed personality quiz.
