Cardinals right-hander P.J. Walters kept baseball in the back of his mind while he sat with his wife and baby daughter at a hospital in Mobile, Ala., for the past two weeks. Now that he's reported to Spring Training in Florida, he'll be keeping his family very much in his thoughts while he gets ready for the 2010 baseball season.

Pitcher P.J. Walters arrived in camp Monday afternoon, 12 days after the premature birth of his first child. Walters said his daughter, Annabelle Faith, has shown improvement since being delivered by emergency Caesarean birth 14 weeks before her May due date.
