Cardinals shortstop Brendan Ryan, who won’t be taking part in many drills for a while this spring training as he recuperates from right wrist surgery in California some 10 days ago, reported to camp as scheduled today and assured reporters he would be ready by Opening Day on April 5 in Cincinnati.
