On a slow news day in Royals Country, Albert Pujols got a spanking from the Kansas City Star.
Pujols was invited to Saturday night’s Negro Leagues Baseball Museum Legacy Awards dinner in KC but did not attend, as reported by baseball writer Sam Mellinger in his Ball Stars blog. This fact was noted after Mellinger rolled through credits for all those who DID sacrifice their time to attend. Even Elvis was in the building, as Mellinger reported that “Elvis Andrus cut short his time at Rangers’ Fan Fest to be here.”
