Cardinals Leaders Of The 1960's

The 1960's saw the return of one Branch Rickey and the return to the top by the Cardinals with three pennants and 2 World Championships. For the 1960's the Redbirds were 4th in the Majors with a record of 884-718 .552. It was one heck a a good decade with a infusion of great stars such as Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Tim MCarver, Bill White, Ken Boyer, Julian Javier, Dick Groat, Steve Carlton, Curt Simmons, Ernie Broglio, Mike Shannon, Orlando Cepeda, Larry Jackson, Nelson Briles, Ray Sadecki, Lindy McDaniel joining the anchor of the team, Stan Musial.
