It’s certainly interesting to see GM John Mozeliak and team president Bill DeWitt III playing the “Cover 2″ defense in discussing the Cardinals’ difficult mission of being able to sign free agent Matt Holliday (now) and Albert Pujols (later) in a way that won’t strangle the payroll.
