Free-agent pitcher Brad Penny is scheduled to be in St. Louis this afternoon for a physical that will complete his one-year deal with the St. Louis Cardinals. The club has not scheduled an announcement that the deal is finalized, waiting instead for the results of the physical that was expected to be completed sometime before this evening.
