Jayson Stark of ESPN says teams need to find value for their dollar, and if they spend all their money on big names what happens if they get hurt? Scott Boras has the Red Sox interested in Matt Holliday but not the Yankees, and Stark thinks the Cardinals have a good chance of signing him. Jayson says if the Cardinals sign Chone Figgins they probably can’t afford to sign Holliday.
