It's difficult to have an enlightened discussion on Matt Holliday and the Cardinals. I don't know what Holliday's agent, Scott Boras, is truly demanding in a contract for his client. I don't know what the Cardinals are really willing to pay. This is a game of poker. The cards haven't been revealed.
