Chicagoan Nick Kladis, a member of the St. Louis Cardinals ownership group, passed away on Monday.

The entire St. Louis Cardinals organization was saddened by the passing of Nick Kladis earlier this week at his home in Chicago. Kladis, 81, was part of the original ownership group that purchased the Cardinals from Anheuser-Busch in 1996.
