Six weeks ago the Cardinals made the announcement that Mark McGwire was ending a self imposed exile from baseball and returning to the team as their new hitting coach. Reaction, as you could imagine, was mixed. There are plenty of people who think that McGwire is a villain. There are just as many people who think that he is innocent until proven guilty.
