San Francisco Giants starter Tim Lincecum won the 2009 Cy Young Award, the Baseball Writers’ Association of America announced this afternoon, giving the righthander his second consecutive award as he edged St. Louis Cardinals starters Chris Carpenter and Adam Wainwright.
