Let's Have Some Photo Fun: Snap It 3.5

To be honest I'm quite dumb when it comes to all this new technology across the Internet. One of the newest things, that me personally, has come across if this nifty little program that deals with pictures. Me being a blogger and also a writer for another site, I'm always wanting to look for various pictures especially when it comes to players nobody has seen before or maybe something that symbolizes a team logo, etc (example in the sidebar). When someone pointed out the snap it 3.5 to me a couple weeks ago I was not too quick to jump on it. I played with it for a little while and found it to be helpful in many fronts.

Couple examples:

See the pic shown directly above. This pic comes from a site I frequent quite a bit during the summer. The website has very hard to get photos you won't find around the net world. The site also has a slide show which makes it hard to get the photos I might be interested in using. But as shown above with this new program I was able to make a couple clicks and pick up a sample photo out of the slide show.

The photo above is pulled from the creators website. The photo would be a pain to pull because it is inter connected into a link. Each time you hit it, the link will lead you back to the home site. With this program it froze the site up blocking the direct link and I was able to pick out the picture.

How about pulling quotes from an article? Another helpful tool for some of you writers who might like to make the quotes, from another person, stick out in an article.

There's quite a few other uses for the program but you will have to try it out and find your own feel for it. I'm planning on using it....it's a big plus and added bonus to the things I do here at this site and others.
