The rest that comes with Labor day weekend has brought rest to a few Cardinal regulars as well. Saturday’s “interesting” lineup was our first clue that manager Tony LaRussa is going to take advantage of the Cardinals large division lead (like Grand Canyon large) and start resting a few regulars while seeing what they have with players like Troy Glaus.
