It's definitely still summer down here in Houston. Warm and muggy today, and the roof is closed at Minute Maid Park.

St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Troy Glaus did not travel with the team to Houston and its unclear if the infielder will join the team at all on this nine-game road trip. Glaus continues to deal with a strained oblique that has obliterated his return from injury. Glaus did some light tossing during the Chicago Cubs series, but has not advanced to full-bore baseball activities, and therefore would not be available to play in this series against Houston.
